Recommendations

Mixing Workstations/Render Nodes with no Prism+ License If you have render nodes or Workstations that don’t have a license for Prism+, but a number of your other machines do, then I would highly recommend you set this environment variable:

PRISM_STUDIO_PATH

A Prism environment variable that defines the location of the Studio configuration file. Because the Discord plugin configuration file is stored in the same directory by default, pointing this variable to the Studio config ensures the Discord config can be located automatically. This allows Prism+ and non-Prism+ machines to work together without running into missing Discord configuration issues.

PRISM_DISCORD_CONFIG_PATH

A Discord plugin environment variable that will allow you to point to a custom location to store and look for the Discord configuration file. This is useful if you want to keep the Discord configuration separate from the Studio configuration or if you want to point to a shared location for the Discord config that all machines can access. Also useful for mixing machines with and without Prism+ licenses.
